What are Repair Cafes?
Repair Cafes are free accessible meetings that rotate location to repair items. At the site where the Repair Café is held, tools and materials are available to carry out all possible repairs. On clothing, furniture, electrical appliances, bicycles, toys, ....
Experts with repair knowledge and a broad multitude of talents are available to turn your broken stuff into a (almost) brand new item.

How does it work?
You take broken stuff from home and bring it to Pangaea. In the Repair Café you work together with the experts to try to repair the items. There is always something to learn :) Fixing it is free, but spare parts (mostly for electronica) are something you need to bring yourself! (ex. new screen for phone, charging port, ... )

Want to join?
Just bring your stuff and come to Pangaea. No registration required, but a slight waiting time might occur. If you have nothing to repair but you have a set of skills that might prove useful for someone else, join the repair cafe by letting us know :) the more the merrier.

Repair Cafés zijn gratis toegankelijke bijeenkomsten die draaien om (samen) repareren. Op de locatie waar het Repair Café wordt gehouden, is gereedschap en materiaal aanwezig om alle mogelijke reparaties uit te voeren. Op kleding, meubels, elektrische apparaten, fietsen, speelgoed,…. Ook zijn deskundige vrijwilligers aanwezig, met reparatiekennis en – vaardigheden op allerlei terreinen.

Bezoekers nemen van thuis kapotte spullen mee. In het Repair Café gaan ze samen met de deskundigen aan de slag. Zo valt er altijd wel wat te leren. Wie niets heeft om te repareren, neemt een kop koffie of thee. Of gaat helpen bij een reparatie van iemand anders.
